Capsule Filling Machine with Manual Loader is used to fill capsules with powder, pellets, and granules. It is a mechanical device. The machine has 300 holes arranged in 25 rows by 12 rows. Every contact part is composed of materials manufactured of stainless steel 304. The machine was meticulously constructed to accommodate capsule sizes ranging from 00 to 5, utilizing distinct machine and format components. The assembly process has been designed to provide easy disassembly for cleaning purposes. The machine requires highly trained individuals to assemble its precision-machined components, even though all operations are manual. S3SettingsSetter New new version New
I have returned from the grave to do another re-rewrite of Sims 3 Settings Setter! Hopefully the last! The main new features are a pattern detection approach, meaning it should work on any version of the game, and a new platform for some function rewrite optimizations I've done (steam only). Also most importantly includes the ability to set the Streaming settings to throttle lots, reducing stutter dramatically and a patch to make lots load on radius instead of view.
A full write-up below, but here's the main features:
Change "variable" settings ingame: This lets you change things that normally require mods but live ingame, letting you tweak things how you want. This includes things like changing bloom levels, light colors, sunlight brightness, weather (so you can have snow in summer), sunrise times, tweaking shadow distances, etc etc. Highly recommend just playing around to see what can be done. These are now correctly mapped so they should all work correctly.
Change "Config" settings (not ingame): This lets you set any config (graphicsrules.sgr) thing you want, including some that aren't in the original files (idr the name). It also lets you have set presets, and means you can (hopefully) more clearly see what settings you've changed. I will slowly (I've said this before lol) manually add Config and Options settings to the live edit, I haven't found an easy automatic way of doing this unfortunately.
Performance tweaks and notifications: Set notifications for hitting memory thresholds, letting you know before an E12 happens. Improve game performance with tweaks to game code. Uhh, maybe other stuff soon idk
Please note, as this is a new rewrite, this is still a beta. There will probably be bugs, the menu may glitch out, etc. Please also note that some settings may effect things in unexpected ways, if you're not sure what a setting does, maybe try it out in a fresh save first. Generally though, everything is correctly mapped and shouldn't have any lasting negative effects on your game.

How to use
Installing:
Just like before you 'll need an ASI loader. I recommend dxwrapper but if you're using Smooth Patch that comes with one too. You then just plonk it into your The Sims 3\Game\Bin folder like any other .asi mod and run the game.

The menu should open up, if it doesn't, look in your game directory for hook_log.txt and send it to me x. If you don't have one, chances are your asi loader isn't working correctly.
The settings tab only becomes editable once a game has been loaded (might change this later). These are values that can be edited live ingame and should change something even if that thing isn't immediately obvious.
Most have sliders, the min/max/step are determined by the game itself, but you can set them above/below these values by right clicking

This also lets you "Clear Override" AKA remove it from the ini, or "Reset to Default" which resets it it to default :)
When you've got things how you want, go to file -> save to save them. If you want to make a preset out of them, that's in file too x, presets save things like patches, Config and QoL too, so just be careful. When loading a preset you can chose to Overwrite which basically clears your ini, or merge, which adds that preset on top of your current settings.
Everything else should be pretty easy to figure out idk

New function approach for live edit
I actually properly looked at the code flow and found a neat vtable that had, essentially, what I was dreaming of when I made the version version of this. The function gives the name, min, max, step and address of incoming variable manager controlled settings, which is rly rly good! A much more sane and easy to develop for approach than the manually mapping out address spaces approach I was taking before!
Patterns
I've tried to use patterns for the most part, this means finding the function and trying to write a "pattern" of bytes that matches both main versions of the game (Steam and EA). This can be pretty tricky as you have to be specific enough that you don't get false positives while being loose enough to get both versions. It seems to work on both EA/Steam version (with the exception of the patches), but please let me know if it doesn't.

NERD ZONE NERD ZONE SKIP THIS PART
These will primarily be direct naked ASM patches to functions, and I'll probably be keeping them exclusive to the steam version of the game unless there's something that's a substantial improvement, as the EA one has been compiled differently so different instructions are used, meaning I'd have to write two patches. You can probably skip using them for now if I'm being honest, I have a bunch in the works but these mostly suck.
Point intersection patch
Essentially this is a hand written naked ASM patch for the point intersection code TS3 uses, this is used for nav meshing IIRC, and was the first proper one of these I did after seeing it in vtuner. Sadly, It's not really going to be noticeable at all, maybe a second faster load on custom maps, as they bulk call it during load. IIRC non-custom ones also call it during sims moving but I could be wrong as I wrote this aaages ago and didn't keep great notes. It has a lot of stuff in it and does achieve a very substantial boost vs the default function as a result, it's just that the function isn't really a cause of lag (though is on the render thread IIRC so..). It achieves the performance boost by I guess nearly fully rewriting it, I added an early exit, use prefetchnta, switched to SIMD, lddqu, shufps, fast paths… idk these are all words that mean nothing to basically everyone reading this including me but I'm quite happy with how it turned out.
Target Framerate
Changes what I can only assume is the games framerate target, it seems to interact w/ the frame buffer. I haven't noticed any noticeable difference but give it a go! This one may desync things in theory but I haven't noticed so 🤷 lol actually this makes animations slow down for some reason so I've removed it oops, need to look into this more.
Lot Visibility
Disables the games check for if a lot is in view, instead it should just load based on the radius around the camera. This is a the patch in Stutter Reducerer so if you're using that you don't need this (just enable Lot Throttling under streaming)
LZ Optimization (not released)
This is basically the point intersection but for the games main package decompression (RefPack) implementation. I… am/was a bit of a dunce with this, for whatever reason my original implementation was focused on large reads using AVX,SSE, etc… Now, the issue is… LZ does small (1-4) byte reads… so… I'm in the process of rewriting it once more. Plan to uroll the functions and do idk like MOVZX I think would be huge, simplifying the flow, etc etc.
The performance gain might actually be somewhat noticeable for this as this function is used in gameplay quite a bit. How you might ask? Well, every single lot that is loaded reads and extracts files for every object in that lot every single time it is loaded, in excess of 40mb/s with that being several hundreds of thousands of calls (some files are very small, and refpack also is byte-by-byte). This is all also done on the render thread, so the game has to wait for this to do its thing (and several other functions) before it renders the next frame. Very good very fun.
Multithreading (maybe eventually)
I've tried but no real luck, I've had some "success" but mostly it's been failures. I do have some interesting things I want to look at, especially related to lot loading so we'll see what the future holds. I think some degree of multithreading for the render thread would be incredibly huge.
Other patches
I have like 10 other ones that are not quite ready yet but should help, hopefully I'll just trickle them out but I think waiting until I can get them working properly is probably dumb.

Several patches
A system for automatic performance tweaks like reducing active lots to 0 when loading, then throttle-loading them back once game has loaded, or automatically reducing settings related to object caps, etc.
More live-edit settings. There's a bunch I want to add it's just annoying. Most are static values though but having to find patterns that find them for both versions is rly annoying. Things like RenderSimLODDistances, FogDistances, the Script category…etc. If you have any requests lmk!
The ini file is kinda ugly garbage horrible to look at
Need to figure out why these have min/max/step like, is there some sort of debug ui I'm missing out on? It seems like there is but idk how to trigger it, gunna be pissed if it's something obvious

3 anecdotes from when i was a teenager that i think really illustrate what evangelicalism is like ->
when i was 14 i went on my first and only "mission trip." it was to a second, smaller church that was a 13 (thirteen) minute drive away. it was a missions trip for the youth group where we weeded around the parking lot and the building, painted walls, built stuff etc etc, with mandatory prayer times a few times a day. basically it was 6-8 hours a day of unpaid manual labor with a bunch of other teenagers. i got to ride in the bucket (full of dirt btw) of a wheel loader with some of the boys on the mission trip which cured my gender dysphoria for a few minutes, though, so at least there was that. but also one of my group leaders was in her late teens/early 20s and bragged about losing 40 pounds when she went on a mission trip to various countries in africa. bewildering behavior all around what is wrong with you.
my church didn't do tithing publicly and no one was forced to give to the church, but there was a qr code u could scan on the weekly pamphlet to donate that the pastor would mention every week. except for on easter, when they would have a basket go around for people to drop money into. easter was by far the day there were the most donations and every year the church would choose a specific charity to donate to. (usually stuff like halfway houses, helping people reintegrate after having been in prison etc, always christian charities but they often were willing to help anyone regardless of religion which was nice at least). except for one year, when we were moving the church into a bigger building, and the "charity" the donations were going to was just. the church. so that we could get a specific very large and unnecessary item (it would dox the church i'm talking about but please trust it was incredibly frivolous and mostly serves to say "look how cool our church is! we even have this item!") this was framed the way all the other charity donations had been framed, which was very very strange, considering the other charities were again like. food pantries and such.
i really vividly remember this one sermon from when i was like, 16, about parenting and how god's love for us is like a father's love for his child. and the pastor was talking about how "if your child runs in front of a car, you can't gentle parent them in the moment you have to grab them and pull them out of the way. sometimes god's love won't feel good in the moment but he's just pulling us out of the way of passing cars.' which. okay. sure. but then he's like. 'and you have to discipline your children. because if you don't discipline your children you don't love them. as the bible says 'if you strike him with a rod he will not die, in fact you might save them from death'. physical discipline is actually what the lord wants us to do! but it has to be methodical and not from anger. because that's how god loves us! like i hit my kids sometimes and clearly they turned out fine and hold no resentment :-)" [screen shows a picture of one of his daughters with her husband and children]. and then everyone clapped and we did communion and then they turned on the concert lighting so the band (led by the pastor's wife) could play the worst christian rock songs known to humankind.

FORD MUSTANG BOSS 302
BOSS-A-NOVA!
They called it The Boss and for two short years it ruled the muscle car scene in the US, establishing itself as one of the greatest road and race cars of the era. Now, it’s one of the most collectible.
In 1960s US street lingo, if something was ‘boss’ it was cool, tough, the best. And the 1969 Boss 302 Mustang wore its badge with pride. It launched just four and a half years after the first Mustang was revealed to critical acclaim and record sales. Yearly updates to keep Mustang fresh in the face of tough new challengers from General Motors and Chrysler (particularly the Camaro) resulted in the once lean and pretty ’Stang muscling up, both in body shape and under-bonnet brawn, and the 1969-70 Boss models were the zenith of Mustang styling.
Thereafter, Mustangs became increasingly bloated and anaemic as the 1970s fuel crisis and stricter pollution laws cut horsepower and stylists lost their way; the rippling flanks and thrusting nose of the late 60s/early 70s cars gave way to boxy, bland designs. That early look would not be recaptured until 2005, when new Mustangs were given retro styling.
The Boss 302 was launched at the same time as its big-block brother, the Boss 429. Both were positioned as competition specials; Ford wanted to homologate its 302-cuber for Trans-Am and the 429ci monster for NASCAR. In fact, Ford went wild with engines between 1969-70, offering nine V8s – the ‘economy’ 302, 351 Windsor, 351 Cleveland, 390, 428 Cobra Jet, 428 Super Cobra Jet, 429 ‘wedge’, Boss 302 and Boss 429.
For the Boss 302, Ford’s high-compression 302ci small-block V8 was beefed up with four-bolt main bearing caps and redesigned ‘Cleveland’ cylinder heads with bigger inlet and exhaust valves, and ports that allowed the engine to breathe more efficiently.
These ‘semi-hemi’ heads were based on the Ford 427ci racing engine’s combustion chambers, and a balanced forged steel crankshaft and forged steel conrods allowed the engine to handle high rpms for sustained periods. A single 780cfm four-barrel Holley carburettor sat atop a high-rise aluminium inlet manifold, while a dual-point distributor, high-pressure oil pump, windage tray and screw-in welch plugs were further indications of its competition intent.
A rev limiter was fitted, progressively cutting spark from 5800rpm to 6150, but it was easily bypassed and the Boss 302 could reportedly keep making power up to 8000rpm with minor mods. In the muscle car marketing war, Ford claimed a peak horsepower figure of 290bhp at 5800rpm (the same as the Camaro Z/28), but that was extremely conservative.
Two four-speed manual Top Loader transmissions were available: a wide-ratio ’box with Hurst shifter more suited to street and strip use, and a close-ratio unit for racing. Adding to the race or road options list were four diffs: the stock 3.5:1 nine-inch, Traction-Lok 3.5:1 and 3.91:1 and the No-Spin 4.30:1 built by Detroit Automotive. Axles and diff centres were also strengthened to take the loads.
Suspension was also race-inspired with heavy-duty springs, shocks and sway bar up front, and Hotchkiss-style rear suspension with heavy-duty leaf springs, sway bar and staggered shock absorbers. The left-hand shock absorber was bolted behind the axle and the right in front, to reduce axle tramp under acceleration. Amazingly for such a high-performance car, braking was still only discs and drums with power assistance.
Ironically, the Boss 302’s sexy shape was styled by former General Motors designer Larry Shinoda, who is often credited with coming up with the Boss moniker. When asked what he was working on, he replied, "The boss’s car", a reference to new Ford president ‘Bunkie’ Knudson, who was also ex-GM and had recruited Shinoda to Ford.
While the wheelbase remained unchanged at 2740mm, the ’69 Mustang was 96.5mm longer overall to accommodate all the V8s offered, although the big-blocks still had to be shoe-horned under the bonnet. Shinoda’s ’69 Boss 302 was also one of the first production cars to offer an optional front air dam and adjustable rear wing, and his use of high-contrast black panels, rear window SportsSlats, and go-faster stripes made the Boss a real attention-grabber. The ’69 was also the only quad-headlight Mustang, a feature that was dropped for 1970 models.
In 1970, American Hot Rod magazine dubbed the 1970 Boss 302 as "definitely the best handling car Ford has ever built", while the conservative Consumer Guide called it "uncomfortable at any speed over anything but the smoothest surface". Unique Cars resident Mustang maniac, ‘Uncle’ Phil Walker, never read the Consumer Guide review, but even if he had it wouldn’t have stopped him buying the immaculate 1970 Grabber Orange Boss 302 you see here.
Phil already has his beloved 1966 Shelby GT350H, but the Boss 302 really got his Mustang juices percolating. And he wasn’t alone, because the first Boss he saw, some 43 years ago, is still one of Australia’s most iconic race cars: Allan Moffat’s Trans-Am racer. Phil remembers it clearly.
"I saw Moff race it Calder and I was inspired to own one," Phil recalls. "It was the most aggressive-looking car; its stance was something you had to see to believe. It looked like it was doing a million miles per hour when it was parked.
"My Boss was originally a one-owner car and I bought it from a friend of mine in California, Dave, who I also bought my Shelby GT350H from 19 years ago. Dave found it in a barn with a blown engine, but in otherwise pretty good condition.
"The lady who owned it from new didn’t realise it had a high-compression engine and had run it on standard fuel. When it blew up she just parked it.
"Dave did a nut-and-bolt restoration over two years, then put it up on his hoist. He didn’t want to sell it, but I got my way in the end – unfortunately he had the last say on the price (laughs). I didn’t even bother to test drive it; I knew it was a good car. It had 21 (new) miles on the odo when I picked it up and only 54,000 miles in total."
Since then, Phil has only put a couple of hundred miles on the car, but that’s enough for him to have bonded with it.
"I’ve only had the Boss since January and it’s growing on me. It’s different to the Shelby. It’s bigger and very low.
"The engine is incredible. Dave is one of the best engine builders in California and when he rebuilt the 302 he changed the cam spec. US camshaft technology was okay in the 60s and 70s, but if you had a big-cam muscle car they wouldn’t idle and they were terrible for driving in cities.
"A proper Boss engine can rev to 8500rpm all day and for a V8 that’s pretty serious. But they’re not renowned for low-down torque; it starts coming on from 3500rpm. My car still has a solid-lifter cam, but it pulls like a train from 1200rpm in top gear and I can drive it around at 1500rpm in top all day.
"It’s got the four-speed close-ratio Top Loader with the long first gear and with a 3.7:1 rear end it does about 55-60mph (89-97km/h) in first gear. It bloody goes!"
Phil is a fussy bugger and his cars have to look just right, so Russell Stuckey from Stuckey Tyres has ordered him a set of genuine 15 x 8 Minilites from England to replace the standard Magnum 500s.
"I want it to look like the Parnelli Jones race car, and to get the stance I want it’s going to have 275/60s on the rear and 255/60s on the front. At the moment it’s a pretty car that is tough, but I want a tough car that looks tough. And that’s all I’m going to do to it."
After his first real fang in the Boss, Phil felt that his Shelby would be half a lap in front at the end of a 10-lap sprint at Sandown, but now thinks the Boss would be quicker. We might have to put both to the acid test one day. What do you mean "no way", Phil?
It was a nervous Phil who turned up at a Melbourne storage facility in January to pick up his new Boss 302. So nervous, in fact, that he took along Unique Cars art director Ange and a sturdy tow rope – just in case.
The storage people were even more apprehensive – they had been warned about just how anal he is with his cars, as he explains: "The lady there said, ‘You must be pretty fanatical because we’ve been given strict instructions that no one is to touch the car except you’." Fortunately, the car arrived in pristine condition.
"I was pretty excited, I’d been waiting for seven weeks," Phil laughs. "I took the car cover off it, fired it up, and it drove home like a brand new car. It was as good as I thought it would be. I spent the next three hours washing it."

PARNELLI AND ME
Three years ago, my mate Dave and I were invited to a Trans-Am dinner at Portland International Raceway where Dave was racing his 1970 Trans-Am Boss 302 and I was crewing for him.
When we were driving there we noticed this black Mercedes following us. When we stopped it did too and this bloke got out and said, "I noticed you guys back at the hotel. You’re going to the Trans-Am dinner aren’t you? I’m lost." It was Parnelli Jones!
I jumped in with him and when we got there I ‘invited’ myself onto Parnelli’s table, which also included Pete Brock – the guy who designed the Shelby Daytona Coupe. There was I, Mr Nobody, with all these US racing heavies, but Parnelli was a real gentleman, not up himself in any way.
The next day they had free lap time at Portland and, when I saw Parnelli there with Ford’s new ‘Parnelli Jones’ Boss 302 tribute Mustang, I asked if there was any chance of a ride and he said jump in. We did 10 laps and the guy hadn’t lost any of his ability; my eyes were getting bigger and bigger coming into the corners.

IT's MINE...
Moff’s Mustang is probably the most iconic Australian racecar and after seeing it I was inspired to own a Boss Mustang. Then, about 25 years ago, I went to Pebble Beach in Monterey for the first time and saw a 1970 Grabber Orange Boss 302, which was the colour Parnelli Jones raced in Trans-Am. That day I knew I had to own a Boss. It was the car I’d always wanted after my Shelby, which was my lifelong dream car.
My Boss 302 is fully optioned, including the Shaker, extra side mirror, tacho and rear louvres, and it’s got a lot of wow factor. When you drive down the freeway, you get the thumbs-up from all sorts of different people. I think it’s the colour.
It’s closer to show standard than my Shelby. It’s got the paint marks on the tailshaft and all the little concours details, but I’m never going to show it; I’m not into that.
The 1969/70 body shape is still the best. Ford got it right then, but lost the plot after that and it’s reflected in their collectibility today. – PW

Capsule Filling Machine With Loader Orienter, also known as the capsule filling machine with Loader, combines an automatic capsule loader with a manual capsule filling machine. While the manual capsule filling machine fills powder and locks capsules that are placed onto the loading tray by the capsule loader, the automatic capsule loader loads empty caps onto the loading trays of the capsule filling machine. These two devices allow one to fill up to 20,000 capsules in an hour. The orientation of the capsule filling machine’s loading tray is 25 holes by 12 holes. Twelve capsules are filled in each shot because capsule loaders move each row with each stroke. The machine will automatically stop after all 12 holes are filled with empty capsules, allowing the operator to remove the loading tray that has 300 empty capsules in it.
For medium to large-scale manufacture of pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, ayurveda, culinary, and herbal formulations, the manual capsule filling machine loader is appropriate. One automatic capsule loader machine and two to three hand capsule filling machines are used for maximum productivity. Both Automatic and Manual capsule loaders are available in our selection.

Japanese Male Airport Luggage Loader
In Japan on IG a passenger is filming a male airport luggage loader through a window, he is treating the luggage so gently. This man is laying each suitcase down on the conveyor belt that takes the baggage into the plane like an adult: slow, responsible, with perception, with agency, intentional, calmly, focused. He is a man not a boy because he is not exhausted, he is not rushing or stressed. The luggage doesn’t take on the energy of Picasso’s weeping woman.

The curse is not being passed on (The Iliad, or The Poem of Force Simone Weil). We can make choices that create the conditions for this state to exist (a Sovereign State). I work in a box factory in Melbourne. I am weak and exhausted from metabolic syndromes, at 10am I say “time for mothers matcha” and spend $8 on a matcha. Often I buy two and slam them like an alcoholic, if people weren't watching I would buy two everytime. Ander watches and says “woah”. When Liam was alive once after school we drank together, he said “wow” after I skulled my glass bottle VB.

After three cell mitosis (~9 months) I can place the JB Hi-Fi boxes on the scale precisely and with control. I lift the boxes and put them down on the pallet without a biological (and therefore emotional-spiritual) tax. I don’t pass on the Force. I pass on the Power (David R. Hawkins) I am an example of possibility, of expansion. It’s important to be the example. I didn’t write on this blog because negative marketing (death art) is the world standard and I wanted to point out pro-life positivity, change and transformation (Krishna), and Inspire, instead of highlighting what I reject. I was stuck under the line of courage on David R’s “Map of Consciousness” so I didn’t have the Vision to forge my attention towards what's beautiful.

When our physiology has space we can become Of Service like the Japanese plane luggage worker. There is separation between the job and the person. In the Separation between an action and its consequence lies Agency. I don’t have children or a boyfriend if I follow the protocol I tend to the land to create the conditions that would allow for that infrastructure to take if the building blocks (seed) present themselves, right now the land is arid and hostile. If sperm doesn’t come at least I ploughed the land so it could have happened if He did. Being adult means participating in preparation, with and through grief. I chose to drive to Ballarat to see a tree instead of going to Ikea to buy two pillows for my bed to replace the old ones from six years ago.

I chose to go see Rex’s show at Strawberry instead of getting a gym membership to Ascot Vale Leisure Center. I do nothing. I ask God to relieve me of my eating disorder and I carry on with the day.
I’m laughing because on Twitter someone said “be there now.” Terrence McKenna said no one escapes, I know that some people enter. Duncan Trussell and Dr. Bruce Damer say the fruiting body of caffeine was skyscrapers and trains but coffee is a taxman and everything has a price—now I’m on chemotherapy and don’t even have cancer (just a spiritual disease with no known cure). Ones quality of life is improved when insulin levels function within nontraumatic scales and then one’s sex drive is returned.
We don’t need to use people-places-things to “secure” our “safety” and we move from a life of nonconsensual self-reliant reactive pattern behaviour to a creative responsive autonomous interdependent God-reliant life. You can love more, you can feel more love, you can give more love when you aren’t dependent on Perception to survive. I’m trying to become an Aboriginal capable of Service (before Socialised Patterning, before the wax all over the sponge).

I’m back for Round 2!
And I’m working on another quilt, this time it’s for my awesome cousin. I wanted to try some half square triangles but after much consideration, I decided to stick with rectangles and squares to practice cutting/sewing super straight and lining up corners. I might try a different method for basting… we’ll see.
I’m working with a precut again but this time it’s a layer cake (10” squares… comes in a pack of 42-ish.) both layer cakes are from Moda…. One is just solid black and the other is called Fruit Loop. It’s a bunch of fun fruit themed prints in bright colors. I’m not sure what I’m going to call this pattern. It may already have a name I’m unaware of. Kind of a modified 9-block. I’ll have enough to make 2 throw size quilts but one will need a border to get to the right size.
I think precuts are a great, beginner friendly way to approach quilting! You can do lots of different things with them it reduces the time spent cutting. If you can get them on sale, even better! Shout out to Green Fairy Quilts! They’re a small family-run business and have tons of precuts by Riley Blake and Moda at great prices. Takes a little longer for shipping but worth it, in my opinion.
I got about 10 blocks done and need 49 so I got a ways to go!
*FRUSTRATING FACT*
My new machine has a top-loading bobbin which I’ve never used before. While I like that it’s more user friendly and you can see when you’re running low on thread….. that fucker is a BEAR to clean. Old-school front loaders, you just clean the lint out when you’re changing the bobbin. Top-loaders? You can’t just clean while you’re changing the bobbin… no you have to get the bobbin case OUT and clean under it. That involves taking the needle plate off first and then the manual blatantly lies and says to just “lift the black bobbin case straight up and to the right to remove.” Yeah….. no. That doesn’t work. I watched 5 different YouTube videos on my machine and everyone just very easily and gracefully lifts that bastard out. Mine? I looked like a toddler trying to solve a Mensa puzzle. I finally had to call the shop I bought it at and hope they didn’t judge too harshly. Thankfully she didn’t and actually validated my struggle. She recommended loosening a couple screws (which I thought about but wasn’t sure that was a good idea or not). Still tricky to get it out/back in. Icing on the cake? After all that work, there was hardly any lint under there. 🤬🤬

Hello! In this post I will describe the details of making a render of Apex Legends stuff (namely the video you're watching) so you can make a photo / video to your liking! Even if you don't wanna render things, I think you might still find the process interesting, OR, especially, the tools useful in you future work.
Why am I doing this? Because I'm taking a train and I'm bored. Also there's too little Bloodhound content here. Maybe someone will actually do some cool rendering of them after this.
Idea
Do you know in training mode, Bloodhound will wait for you indefinitely like a puppy with their cute little look-around motion?

I want them to be my background. So the most important requirements are:
3 Bloodhounds looking around and waiting like that of training mode. (why only 1 if you can have 3?)
Firing range background.
Looks overall good or something (e.g., lighting, motion not synchronized, 1920x1080 for my computer, etc.)
Let's get started.
Model
Well, there won't be multiple Bloodhounds waiting for me in the firing range in-game. I am also not intended to mod R5Reloaded just for this. So we'll use Blender to pose them.
First we need the model. The details of how to use Apex Legends model in blender can be found in this tutorial I found. Basically you just need Blender, semodel + seanim loader, Legion+, and the game itself. You COULD find archives of some models on the web, but manually extracting will guarentee that you can get everything you need.

There are a lot of tutorials of how to use Blender. I will not include the details here.
We need:
Models of 3 Bloodhounds (pilot_medium_bloodhound, bloodhound_v21_pilot_level03_w, bloodhound_v21_heroknight_w)
Animation of them waiting indefinitely (mp_pt_medium_training_blood_idle_A_0.seanim)
The names are a bit weird. You can just try to import all the models / animations to find what you want.
Background
Map files are large and hard to load. In my case I never even imported any map in Blender successfully. Fortunately we are looking for a still image background.
I used R5Reloaded's photo mode (or something like that) to get a clean picture. Quite a lot of steps to get a background picture, I know. I used R5Reloaded for other things at that time so this was the most convenient way for me ironically.
R5Reloaded does has a lot of potential, though. Maybe you can use it on other stuff afterwards.

But if we just make a render in Blender and composite the result with this background, the perspective will certainly not be aligned and the result will look very weird. Probably need a disgusting amount of time just to adjust this stuff.
Thankfully, by the theory of perspective and projective geometry, we can calculate the focal length, the height and the angle of camera all from a single image by your favorite subject: math!
...I mean, by fSpy. We have computers. We don't do the math that others already did for us.

After getting the parameters of the camera, you can import them into blender directly. The camera from fSpy already has the background image composited so you won't need to do much else in Blender.
Posing & Lighting
We have almost everything we need. So just:
Import all models and camera (from fSpy)
Shade the models and adjust size / position / orientation so it looks good on camera
Import animations on model and adjust the keyframes s.t. they don't do the exact same motion every frame.
We are using the existing animations so posing won't be a problem. If you want to make your own pose you might need some more proper rigging. Not expert on this so that's all I will say.

Now we need the lighting. The lighting environment in the firing range is not really available to us if we don't have the skybox or the map file. Maybe you can find the skybox in Legion+ or archive, but I use lights in Blender instead.
Namely, a sun light to simulate the light from the sun, and a plane light at front for overall light adjusting (probably also simulates reflection from the ground and the environment).

And wait for like half an hour for Blender to spit out all 285 frames and we're done! I let Blender store each and every frame as an image and use ffmpeg to composite them all into a video because I thought I need the high resolution images for something else. Blender does have a setting to just output a video without the intermediate result if I recall correctly.
Conclusion
This is definitely not a complete guide on how to do rendering pieces of work with Blender. I myself am not even well experienced in this kind of stuff. But I think the process is fun and the result is rewarding, especially when seeing your favorite character moving on your background.
I hope you do check out the reference of tools and tutorials above. After all, as an artist (kind of), having the model is like possessing THE absolute reference for a character. Very recommended for every artist to learn how to use Blender and search for models. In 2024 a lot of games are in 3D and there WILL be someone on the web sharing how to extract models from the game or simply gives out the entire archive. You name it! Apex Legends, Titanfall, Destiny, even Ultrakill has like a 1GB blender file for high quality models, if you just google for that ever so slightly.
